Meet The team

A native of Pueblo, Colorado, Born November 3, 1948, from the marriage of Irene Tafoya, and Bonefacio Vigil. He is one of 15 children raised on the Family Farm. Widowed from his Late Wife Sylvia Banuelos Vigil, and proud father of six children, David, Tania, Alma, Isaac, Caleb and Cory.
David’s mission and purpose in Life is to be a help to those in need, to assist and teach others to be all they can be, and to make a positive difference in the lives of others.
Over the past forty-five plus years, David’s passion as a Student, a Community Organizer, Labor Union Official and Civil/Human Rights Advocate, has been to defend the political and human rights of oppressed people in the United States and internationally. As a student, at Southern Colorado State College, he served as President of Chicanos Unidos For Action, organizing several student conferences in Colorado and Chicago, Illinois. David also served as the President of Mexican American Law Student Association while attending the University of Denver, College of Law evening Program while he worked full-time for The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. As a Community Organizer for the Sol Alinsky Institute for Organizers, he served as Lead Organizer of The East Chicago Indiana Community addressing Civil Rights Issues and Teaching English as a Second Language to monolingual Spanish Speaking Community members during night classes. He also served as a Federal Servant, as an Investigator/Hearing Officer/ Conciliator, and Union Official, addressing Civil Rights and Labor Law Violations in Employment and was a Member of several National Organizations addressing discrimination against Protected Class Members under the Civil Rights Laws. More recently, under the mentorship of his friend and mentor for the past thirty five years, Dr. Ved Nanda, Director of the Ved Nanda Center for International And Comparative Law, and Founding Director of the International Legal Studies, University or Denver, Sturm College of Law; David has joined the ranks of Individuals across the World in the International Campaign to end Crimes Against Humanity with the objective of investigating and prosecuting those responsible for such crimes.
David’s work experiences include everything from Farm Worker, Machine Operator, Foot Soldier (Grunt) in the rice paddies of Vietnam, Community Organizer, Teacher of English as a Second Language, Investigator/Hearing Officer/Conciliator with the EEOC, Labor Union Official for the American Federation of Government Employees, Force Modernization Manager/Logistics Program Manager for the Department of Army, Intermediate Nuclear Forces Treaty Officer for the Secretary of Defense, and Base Transition Officer for the Department of the Army. David retired from the U.S. Federal Government after twenty-eight years of public/federal service in the year 2000. More recently, since February of 2019, David has worked as a Truck Driver for Swift Transportation Corp. David was also employed by MV Transportation as a Bus Driver, transporting Disabled Clients to their respective Medical Facilities. David found this job to be one of the most rewarding and purposeful jobs he has done in his lifetime.
David, as CEO of Vida Alta Property Solutions and Senior Living Services, LLC, is also involved in the Real Estate and Land Development of Assisted Living Facilities to serve the needs of the aging population of the United States with over seventy million Baby Boomers (ages 55 to 75 plus). David serves our Senior Population as a Certified Senior Living Transitional Specialist with Moms House; and as a Graduate of Investor’s Edge University, he assists Homeowners in navigating their Home Owner Options related to the Foreclosure Process.
David is also involved in numerous Community and Social Justice initiatives including Families of Missing Children, Minorities in the Need to Develop Scholastics, Advisor to the Avondale/Boone Coalition for Better Health, Stop our Pain Initiative, and Advisor/Co-founder of the Cesar Chavez Academy. He is active in Church Missions into Mexico and other Outreach Missions throughout the USA.
David has had the good fortune of being able to travel and experience other parts of the world, including Viet Nam, The Philippines, Hong Kong, Thailand and more recently, Mexico, Venezuela and Uruguay.
David firmly believes that we are Spiritual Beings and we are here to do our part on this earth toward fulfilling our God-Given, God-Centered Purpose. David’s favorite quotes are: “El respeto al derecho ajeno es la paz” “Respect for the Rights of Others is Peace”, President Benito Juarez; “With two cents and God, we can do anything”, Mother (Saint) Teresa of Calcutta; “He who pursues Justice and Love, finds Life, Prosperity and Honor”, Proverbs 21:21.
